Currently at the Learning Center we are focusing on the natural environment. 

Within this theme the children are being exposed to aspects of gardening, and are learning about different soil, plants, seeds, and the general care of a garden. As our garden grows we will enjoy the fresh fruits and vegetables for our snacks and lunch. They are also being allowed to discover the creatures of the garden, such as snails, worms, and other bugs. The natural environment theme is integrated throughout each of the centers in and out of the classroom so the children have the opportunity to explore through many different mediums and modalities of learning. As such, many natural materials are being used and incorporated into play to help enhance the curriculum. The children are exploring our park to gather materials to bring into the environment, and we also encourage families to participate by bringing in items they find outside of the center.

The Learning Center houses our Infant and Toddler Programs as well as the My Family and Me classes.
