According to the H&D philosophy, when a child sees mom and dad working together with teachers and other parents as a team, it creates a sense of security and confidence that contributes to the child’s well-being and self-esteem. Thus, the Hill & Dale Parent Association (PA) works closely with the administration to support our children and the school. We emphasize coming together as a community, for it is through our friends and family that we find great strength and support. Also by participating in the PA we model for our children what it means to be part of a community.

The Parent Association holds beginning and end-of-year picnics, holiday gatherings, day hikes and camping trips, as well as a Staff Appreciation day. We do get togethers in the parks during the warm months and then at local restaurants during the winter. We create a quarterly newsletter that chronicles our children, their educators and our families throughout the year, a Memory DVD and a yearly calendar. Lastly, we help raise funds to support the school and the Tuition Reduction Program through our annual Silent Auction Dinner and Dance. The Parent Association is led by two co-chairs, one from either center, as well as their co-chair elects.
